There are a couple more expensive, but more sophisticated products on the market that I also like.

HootSuite is a hot, free tool that has a cheap paid price point, has a great looking backend as well.

SocialOomph has a lot more functionality for twitter followers/direct messages, etc. than HootSuite, so SocialOomph is good for when you are ready to manage a campaign (vs just watch it and let it go, mostly organically)

Try advertising on the cheap, with car magnets or vehicle advertising like business cards.

You probably already have the business cards, people are always walking by your car…advertise on your personal mobile billboard!

Keep in mind, business cards on your car as a marketing model will not work for every business type. If you are a computer programmer, this is probably not the best method to advertise your programming services. Home party sales people, those offering other home services such as carpet cleaning, lessons, classes, repairs, etc., all often benefit with car-based ads becuase they drive thier vehicles around in areas where home owners and renters (their customer base) will see them, and are getting their ad in front of thier target market on a daily basis.

Many people put the vinyl signs on thier car, but don’t provide the business card holder. I think the auto business card holder is key becuase many people do not remember names/numbers, and/or don’t have a way to write down your number easily when they see your information on your vehicle.

Research if Auto Business Card Holders and Vehiclular Advertising is Right for You

I recommend pairing this with magnetic car signs or window advertising such as vinyl stickers for the side of your car or bumper, or window stickers. Magnetic signs are a good starting point because you can remove them easily if you decide you don’t like them. You can always “upgrade” to fancier vinyl stickers or window stickers later: Car Advertising

When deciding on colors for your logo and website design, it is important to think about the colors you are chosing and the emotions and feelings people are going to have at a subconcious level based on those colors.

They have a free version that is good for individuals as well as a professional version, which is what I have tried.
