Did you know that researchers are able to identify which emotions and feelings are aroused in people when they see different colors?
It’s true!
For example, blue is an appetite surpressant. That’s why you never see it in any fast food logos.
Here is a website that has more information on colors and what they mean: http://zacjohnson.com/the-emotions-of-color-in-marketing/.
When deciding on colors for your logo and website design, it is important to think about the colors you are chosing and the emotions and feelings people are going to have at a subconcious level based on those colors.

Need more Facebook or Twitter friends, but tired of logging in every day and clicking all those thinks?
I use Lively Marketing’s Twitter FriendAdder software programs.
I can manage your friend campaigns for $50/month each (Twitter), or if you’re more of a “do it yourself” person, feel free to visit thier site.
NOTE! While I love thier Twitter Friend Adder, they have another product, Facebook Friend Adder is still a little buggy, which I do NOT endorse.

This is a great tool for tracking search engine positioning.
They have a free version that is good for individuals as well as a professional version, which is what I have tried.

Olive Crest Back-To-School Supply Drive – Example of the Power of Networking

Helping those less fortunate and giving back to my community are important for me, and something I strive to integrate into my business.
I had personally decided that my business, 123 Easy Websites, would donate supplies for 5 backpacks for Olive Crest, an organization that helps about 200 foster children in our community, among other things.
In addition to making this personal commitment, I organized a back to school drive for Olive Crest and got the meetup group for local volunteer activities in Las Vegas, Acts of Kindness (AOK) involved.
By harnessing the amazing volunteer power of the AOK group and getting others involved, the 5 backpacks worth of supplies I was going to volunteer was multiplied into:
- 20 Backpacks
- 75 3-Ring Binders
- 401 Erasers
- 99 Pocket Folders
- 26 packages of Notebook Paper
- 17 Calculators
- 12 Tab Index Dividers
- 42 Rulers
- 33 Pencil Holders
- 105 Glue Sticks/Bottles
- 20 Composition Notebooks
- 112 Spiral notebooks
- 4 Watercolor Paint sets
- 15 Boxes Colored markers
- 7 Boxes Colored Pencils
- 14 Pencil Sharpeners
- 20 Scissors
- 44 Highlighters
- 4 Boxes Tissue
- 4 Individual-Sized Tissue Packages
- 6 Individual Hand Sanitizers
- 940 Pencils
- 3 Progractors
- 64 Boxes of Crayons (24-pk or larger)
- 481 Pens
- 13 Packages of Index Cards
- 1 Package Graph Paper
- 3 Permenant Markers
- 11 Construction Ppaers
- 1 Stapler
- 2 Memo Books
- 9 Packages Post-Its
- 2 Dry Erase Markers
All I can say is “Wow!”
The power of networking and inviting others to share something you are passionate about is awesome!
I am so happy that so many volunteers stepped up and donated all these additional supplies, and I know that the foster kids at Olive Crest (plus the staff!) are going to be overjoyed to receive all of this.
We are all blessed to be a blessing, and I am glad I could share the information about Olive Crest’s need with AOK and help everyone contribute.

The first time I talked to Dr. Julian, the owner of internetcloning.com, I thought, wow, there is a guy who actually can talk faster than me! Believe me, if you’ve talked to me, you know what I mean when I say that I am a super fast talker.
We have worked together on several projects now and have a great time. The way his brain works is very refreshing and opens up ideas to me that I handn’t considered before.
He is professional and prompt and I have enjoyed working with him.
